Many cafes, taverns and restaurants along the beach as well as in the center of the village (200 m away) offer a wide range of Greek specialities. Numerous souvenir shops, jeweller´s shops and boutiques invite to a shopping spree. There are also 15 supermarkets, 2 butcher´s shops and 2 bakeries for the every day necessities. Furthermore there is a pharmacy and there is also the chance of medical treatment.

The large and clean beach is marked with the blue-white flag (European norm) indicating the exceptional quality of water and beach. For sporty people there exists a school for scuba diving and surfing and it is also possible to waterski or to make paragliding. The distance from our house to the beach takes about three minutes walk on foot.
